Valley View – Lydenburg
Property Overview
A few years ago big-city folk often viewed these as scenic one-horse towns on the way to bigger, more important places – like
Rustenburg, the first capital of the platinum-mining revolution, which has seen headgears spring up all along the western limb of
the Bushveld Complex.
After Rustenburg, it was the turn of the northern part of the eastern limb, with Polokwane taking strain as mining companies rushed
there to develop platinum deposits.
Now boardrooms have turned their attention to the rest of the eastern limb which includes Burgersfort, Lydenburg and Steelpoort.
“Ten years ago, R200 000 was all you needed to settle in Lydenburg,” says a local estate agencies representative. “Now, a million
rand will barely get you there.”
The project comprises agricultural land being rezoned into residential land, serviced and divided into approximately 260 stands on 21 hectares of land. There are currently no buildings erected on the property - the project is a township development project and it is part of the development process to install infrastructure and erect a club house (incorporating a gym) and a gate house at the entrance to the property.
Income will be paid on a monthly basis to the investor for the first 3 years of the project until 30 November 2011, after which the process will be fixed and determined by the directors in collaboration with the Directors. The investor shall receive 100% allocation of funds, and monthly income is based on his initial investment amount and includes an annual escalation of income, ending on 30 November 2011.
